"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Some of your stuff seems more on the journalistic tip than the artistic one. I like both, though. Also, don't feel bad about touching up with photoshop. I don't put up a single shot with out running it through a few augmentations in photoshop and most professionals are the same. The fact is, if you don't have a darkroom, you need photoshop. (this philosophy doesn't apply absolutely 100% of the time I'll admit)
i just saw in one of your comments (on your own photo) you mentioned photo-shopping and it sounded like you felt you had to admit it. I had a long conversation on the subject with a guy today. Maybe my brain jumped the gun on you. Hope you understood I was going for re-assurance and something positive.
